Aus Agro x Takakita: From Nabari to Australian Paddocks

From our first conversation in January 2025 to a factory visit in Japan, Henty Field Days and our first Australian customer — the story behind Aus Agro and Takakita.

Aus Agro x Takakita: From Nabari to Australian Paddocks

A partnership built in person

Our first contact with Takakita was in January 2025. What followed took us from conversations about Japanese-built hay equipment to a factory visit, a shared field-day display and our first Takakita baler sale in Australia.

June 2025: Visiting Takakita in Nabari, Japan

In June, we travelled to Nabari, Japan, to visit the Takakita factory and meet the team. It was a chance to see the equipment up close and discuss the machines with the people behind them.

September 2025: Henty Field Days

At Henty Field Days in September 2025, we displayed Australia’s first Takakita mini round baler. Takakita board members attended, joining us as Australian farmers got their first look at the machine on our stand.

October 2025: Our first customer in Newrybar

In October, we sold our first Takakita baler to a customer in Newrybar, NSW. We also filmed content on their property — taking the story from the field-day stand to an Australian farm.
