Put your hay package machinery to work in your paddocks or as a contractor. From as little as ~37 bales a month you can cover repayments*. Everything after that is profit.
Make affordable monthly or seasonal repayments directly to the bank. The machinery is yours at the end of the term.
After 3 years you may be eligible to upgrade into larger or more advanced equipment. Aus Agro can help resell your existing machine and transition you into new gear, so you can grow your contracting business without being stuck.

Frequently Asked Questions
No. Once you’re approved, the bank pays Aus Agro so you can receive your machinery straight away. You don’t need to worry about large lump-sum payments. You just make simple repayments to the bank.
You make repayments directly to the bank, not Aus Agro. Most contractors choose monthly instalments, but seasonal repayment options may be available to match the hay season.
The package includes the core compact hay-making machines — baler, mower, rake, and wrapper — along with:
- A starter maintenance kit
- Consumables like twine and stretch film to get you started
- Online training and certification
- Listing as an Aus Agro Approved Contractor
- Access to optional service bundles and extended warranty
It depends on Hay Making Equipment you purchase and the price you sell your bales for. For example, using our Hay Maker Package:
- At $10 per bale → ~440 bales per year
- At $15 per bale → ~294 bales per year
- At $20 per bale → ~220 bales per year
Everything after that is profit.
At the end of your finance term, the machines are completely yours. No balloon payments or handbacks. You own it outright.
Yes. After around 3 years, you may be eligible to upgrade into larger or more advanced equipment. Aus Agro can help resell your current machine and apply the value towards your next package so you can grow without being stuck.
Training is delivered online through easy-to-follow videos and guides. You can complete it at your own pace. Once finished, you’ll be certified as an Aus Agro Approved Contractor, which we promote through our channels.
Not necessarily. You can choose to service it yourself to save costs, or opt into our prepaid servicing plans for peace of mind. Contractors who service regularly usually enjoy longer machine life and smoother operation.
Yes. You can include estra attachements, service bundles, and extended warranties in your financed amount. That way, your repayments cover everything you need to operate smoothly. In the finance example above we already include some of the extras you would need to get started straight away.
