We are a second generation family-owned and operated business based in Queensland, Australia. With over a decade of experience in the agricultural industry, we specialise in manufacturing, importing, and delivering high-quality farm equipment and machinery to small to medium farm owners.
Aus Agro Pty Ltd is backed by a wealth of expertise. Our offices are located not only in Australia, but also in Argentina, Paraguay, and Uruguay, allowing us to cater to the needs of farmers worldwide.
During our time running the family business we have quickly developed a reputation for being honest, hard working and dedicated to providing excellent customer service.
Educating The Market & Ourselves
My brother and I weren't lucky enough to grow up on a farm, so we spent the first year in business educating ourselves and talking to every one of our customers about the benefits of our innovative mini hay making equipment.
It didn't take long before we started gaining traction on our social media channels. After lots of testing and learning we knew we were onto something special.
We'd soon fall in love with the idea of owning our own block of land using this business as a way to acheive that goal for our family and future generations.
Attended Our First Field Days
A rite of passage for any small business starting out in the Agricultural sector, we attended our first field days. This one was down at AgFest in Tasmania. A long way to travel for two Gold Coast boys. Thankfully we had the company and full support of our mum and two lovely girlfriends.
Fair to say we had a lot of strange looks during the show. Especially standing next to all that big equipment! But we've always said it's not the size that matters ;)
When people stopped to take a look and ask questions, it didn't take them long for them to see why their might be a need for mini hay making equipment like ours.
Our First Partnership
After spending our first two years talking to lots of customers about hay making equipment. We recognised a gap in the market. While our products are made with affordability in mind, there was growing demand for more alternatives in the mid-top range gear.
Step onto the scene, Takakita. The Japanese Agricultural Manufacturer with over 110 years in business. Looking for an honest, trustworthy and fast growing partner in the local Australian market, they approached us for initial conversations. After a fruitful trip to Japan, an exclusive distribution partnership was born!

With BIG ambitions
On the 25th of July 2023, Aus Agro Pty Ltd was officially registered with the Australian Securities & Investments Commission.
We call this our business anniversary and plan on celebrating each year with something special.
